Some people are new to the whole internet forum thing and how to do this and that is somewhat confusing. No problem. When the real experts started they didn't know what a smilie was either.
At this time it is not required that you register to post here. That may change in the future but we'll see how it goes. You do have a lot more options when you register and you don't have to type in the "keywords" for every post when you are registered and signed in. (FYI- oh, sorry, for your information - if you are not registered sometimes the keyword box will appear with no keywords. click on the little 2-arrow-thingie and it will refresh the box and give you keywords to type in.)
That being said, you should register. As-per the above you get more options like being able to post a picture of yourself (or whatever), put a signature line in like a link to your band site, your favorite saying etc.. Registering does not mean that Big Brother now knows where you are or someone now has the pin numbers to your bank account. It just means that it is much quicker and easier for YOU to make a post.
Registration is easy. Put your credit card away, it's free. Just click on the little "Register" button above and follow the steps. Painless really. You will not receive any spam because you did that either.
To make a post - Pick the board that suits your question/statement best (General, Songwriting, Studio etc). Go there and click on "New Thread" which is sorta small and to the right in the blue bar. A window will open that you can put your subject in and a box to type your post in. When done just click on the "Post Message" button at the bottom. If you want to see your post before you send it out then click on the "Preview" button and what everyone else sees will be displayed. You can go back and edit, or then click the "Post Message" button to post it to the site.
To Reply to someone else's post - While reading what someone else has written, you decide you would like to make a comment. Just click on the "Reply" button, also in the blue bar, and follow the same steps as above in "To make a post". I'm positive they will be happy you jumped in.
If you are having a difficulty with any particular thing please feel free to send me an e-mail and I'll do my best to walk you through it. What you think is important and everybody want's you here!
