Almost silenced by a near fatal stroke, Dean Prescott, insightful songwriter and melodic guitarist, now spends his days working towards rehabilitation.
Dean has enjoyed a versatile musical life, spent playing with bands and as solo acoustic artist in places from Central Oregon to Paris, France. He is also prominently known as a long-time member of the hard-gigging local Central Oregon band "The Substitutes". His musicianship is surpassed only by his typically good hearted nature and oddly entertaining sense of humor.
His road to recovery will be long and is complicated by pre-existing, extreme, chronic back pain and irreversible nerve damage in his feet & legs. Dean will not be able to work for the foreseeable future, but his medical needs will be ongoing.
He's not asking for a donation. However, if you listen to the music on the linked page and if you like it, you can buy a special CD created for this benefit.
It is only $10 and that includes shipping. Just click on the "Merchandise" tab to the right in the blue bar of the linked page, and in the meantime, enjoy Dean's music! www.sixtysecondhero.com/Benefit_For_Dean
